Alexis Harvey, MFTI
Therapist Intern
Many individuals, couples, and families experience normal periods of disconnection, tension or struggles from past undesired patterns that continue to impact the present. Seeking therapy is a brave and significant step towards healing and growth. It takes great courage to explore areas of life that feel uncomfortable, painful, or confusing and I strive to honor that courage in every session.
I am passionate about creating a therapeutic space where you will feel heard, valued, and above all, safe. I believe that healing happens by building connections, and that each and every person/client deserves to be met with respect, empathy, and compassion regardless of their circumstances or background. My approach emphasizes client empowerment, cultivating deeper connections, and rediscovering closeness. Together, we can explore new, healthy patterns that better serve you and help you to reach your therapy goals. Your feelings and experiences matter and you are not alone!
As a marriage and family therapy intern, I am drawn to working with individuals, couples, and families who are seeking support as they navigate life’s challenges and strive for growth and transformation.
